I just went back and read Davidv's post and it doesn't say anything about him being issue tickets. Just that he took his info down and that he's going to be 'investigated'. LOL

 

Black G37 that got pulled over on 211? did you get a ticket? how bad was it? The trooper came out of no where.

hhahahaha yeah I was in the group that was at the rest stop. I really needed a cheeseburger.

totally regret that now. To be honest though I was going to leave at 211 anyway. We had to go get the guys car that had a flat tire and i didnt want to go too much farther up the mountain.

Yeah! I promptly gave him the thumbs down and the dude in M3 behind me was laughing his *** off.

I hear you on this... this is why the group I was cruising with bypassed the pit stops and drove skyline like you are supposed to... nice pace through the turns.. slow through the straights and mindfull of other people.and blind corners...

I distincly remember the cars that were driving like idiots... and as soon as I realized this I got as far away from them as I could... I would never ever cruise with those people again...(these were the clowns that were flooring it through the straights, braking hard mid turn,tailgating, and flying throught blind corners, (barely holding any sort of line) without even thinking about the other people at the park) they were also driving like crap on 66 as well..

 

Did anyone find out who the azz was in the Convertible? lol haha j/k man..
Not many ppl can pull off a roadster i like urs tho.. very clean man.. it was either me or you leading the pack for a while there lol

True i was with Brian and the dude with the other red G35 with the time attacks and his GF for the whole beginning till the first place we ate at i believe it was called Skyland.. i seen some blue Z looked stock but he was passing his azz off.. that was the only dude i seen pass.. Then the douches that would lay rubber everytime they took off like idiots

 

i know we went to like 5 diff places before we found everyone that went to the other diner

 

Kinda sucks that a lot of you older guys will think some of us younger/newer guys are douche bags (i mean im 30 in a month).

Please know that not all of us were being asses and really wished we couldve cruised with you.

 

I saved my only burnout for the McDonalds in Warrenton.

jeasbeast, your Z is stunning as well, especially that exhaust when I'm driving behind you. I really want to put a true dual in and do a tail tuck.

 

Next up: Skyline Drive Cruise for the 25+ age group and/or those who know how to drive. A huge emphasis on knowing and not "thinking." A few of my friends almost got ran into and that's just not cool. +1 on the braking mid-turn and paving an incorrect line... that's straight up noobsauce. Braking mid-turn + max grip = you doing a 360. There is also no need to hit triple digits on Skyline... nor do any sort of peel out to get attention from the police and to show off how stock you are.
