my situation is a little different, my dad has a place out there, and when I went abroad the car was put in his name etc...So it doesnt matter what my license says... it just worked out easier as I was in London, then came back and bounced to PA etc...so it doesnt matter what my license says....
but I would assume your license would have to match up.... now that I am back in DC (and it looks like I am staying) I need to figure out what to do as well....
but since Alberto can change his address, its still probably an easier option..

My brother did option number one with his max. Took the test and failed then had a shop give him a reciept for a certain amount and he was waived. They way shop reciepts look you could probably type one up yourself and take it to them but you didnt hear that from me lol.

Vehicles registered to senior citizens over 70 and over who drive 5,000 miles per year or less (if co-owned, both owners must be over 70).
Alberto,
"sell" it to a grandparent or someone you know over 70 and prove the mileage per year is less then 5,000.
BTW I went right thru the test with my tyest pipes on the car...no codes.

I cant believe there still isnt away to get around this. Would it pass if it was "sniffed"? I.E. can you ask them to do the roller check and have it pass? I mean I know you dont want some schmuck driving your car but is it a possibility? Maybe make it run really lean and adjust the rev limiter so they cant get into it?
(you would want it to run lean right or am i F'ing up my thoughts on this?)
