Could you yank out the haltech temporarily? With an osiris tune on your stock ECU you shouldn't be throwing codes I wouldn't think.

The simple answer is to be certain when modifying that your care is still legal and not polluting our air. Remember.............we all share the air and clean air is kind of important.

No reason to yell. You apparently have your opinion and I have mine. If everyone took the attitude that it is ok to pollute the air, we would all be breathing foul air. Fortunately, most people are responsible enough to keep their cars in a condition to not pollute the air. Besides, it is illegal to remove the catalytic converters and there is a pretty hefty fine if caught.

No reason for that kind of talk. Heavily polluting cars are simply not good for the environment. Threats are very childish.

I highly doubt that my car meets smog test, however I put 10 bucks on it that my car puts out less crap a year then any other car.

I think I've hit 3K miles in 4 years.

If you're so concerned about pollution, maybe you shouldn't be driving a 350z to begin with? You should be riding a bicycle.

I'm not saying people shouldn't drive........I am simply stating they should drive "clean" cars. They are clean from the factory and that is ok. Modifications should take into consideration the emission laws. If people don't comply, don't complain when the car fails the emission test.

KornerDick***

Please remove your brainwashed thoughts from our Mid-A forum. All cars pollute the air douche***. Cars that aren't running cats or "legal" exhaust systems just pollute it more. By having your Prius or Insight, you are still polluting the air as it pollutes the air to make them and to drive them.

See, this is where having a Mid-A mod would come in handy, the post from the toolbox in MO would just disappear.

I would gladly pay a hefty tax for a 10-12K per year waiver if the state would just leave my car alone. Safety inspection is fine, but emissions is a PITA.

Nope, the flash turns off the CELs, but the sensors just show as pending when you plug in the OBD and in PA 2 pendings = FAIL.
