I'd put the rear sway on full soft....mine is. I have actually thought about putting the stock rear bar back on, but have held off. Worry about ride height after you get the new set-up on. I will PM you my alignment from when I was on street tires in a bit.

not a huge fan of the rims or the sizes but at the same price as just rims... I can sell those rims to any 240 guy and pick up the set I want after I wear the tires out.

I will say this....you will have one of the highest indexes at CDC though. Treaded R-comps are not really great for autocross, but they will still be quicker than street tires. If I were you I think I would stick with street tires and perhaps a wider wheel in the front. That is a great pick-up at that price though.

I cant commit enough to compete especially with the wedding/job schedule/army this year.
So indexes dont matter a ton to me. I just need to work on my driver mod. I think I would jsut rather do it once and get the enkei's + street tires to save the hassle lol

I just looked the only 285 in 18 I can find is the RS3 and it is a 30. Kumho XS, Star Spec, Re-11, and RIR's don't come in 285. Looks like you are stuck with the Hankooks.

Anyone of you guys (Barn, Bigcloud, or VTchang) plan on attending the BMW school on March 5? I volunteered to instruct. They probably won't want me though since I haven't run one of their events, but if a few 350z's sign up they may change their tune. Just a thought. Not sure what the format is, etc, but I will have the z there on the hoosiers. I'll be happy to give rides and maybe let you guys drive it if they allow that. The hoosiers are very expensive and don't last long at all though....so I probably will have to limit you guys to 1 or 2 runs at the max. We'll play it by a year. Also, don't know what the cost is....?

I am hoping that CDC or someone else will have an event mid march. It is unlikely though because they tend to not schedule when SCCA has an event. They are doing time trials and hpde at Summit on March 12/13. I was planning on going, but still need to replace the front rotors, another set of wheels, and some other little things. Just can't justify the cost for a few more months....I plan to do the hpde in the summer though.

I can't speak for this year's format, but I can give some insight of last year's. They broke the entire course and participants into 3 different sections and groups. Each section focused on a different handling aspect. Each group rotated to different sections of the course. At the end, everybody got 4 runs which pretty much was the 3 different sections chained together.
I am not sure if I can make March 5th yet, but i'll keep it in mind.
