Looks like the bmw school is now full. Anyone who signs up at this point will be put on a waiting list, but their club members wiil get priority. They may open it up for additional students if the number of instructors increases.

Updated with BMW NCC schedule.....big changes from last year. No events at Bowie...other than the school. They are apparently co-sponsoring an event at Cumberland. Should be fun.

Had the Cusco put in yesterday. Unfortunately, although within spec, the backlash is too tight and it screams at highway speeds. Going back tomorrow to re-do it. The cusco at 80% lock-up is almost not streetable. It is incredible grabby. Even has the car lurching a bit at 25-30mph. I am going to keep it there for now, but I may have to drop it down....the transition could be an issue in sharp autocross turns. The diff plus solid bushings and the already harsh OS Giken Clutch set-up is not for the feint of heart. Going to take some serious getting used too.

Dorrian, are you going to Waldorf?
All the fast cars are going to be in Frederick. I hate that lot with a passion, but it's also insanely convenient (1mi from my house). With the current entry list I should win FTD w/o too much trouble at BMW. Only issue is I seem to have some drive line issue....not fond of being 90 minutes from home and having a failure.

Too bad then.
I just do not understand why we have some empty weekends and others like April 23rd, when we have NCC, CDC and SCCA having events.....
I know they are independent of each other, but Im sure most of them also try to get to more events when available.

Clubs are apprehensive to schedule this early in the year because of the variable weather. Many of the lots are non refundable for canceled events (due to snow, etc)....and may not have any more weekends to accommodate a rescheduled event.

Bloody hell.....17 cars in X2. There are some very fast guys signed up now. Josh luster is usually 2-3s faster than Moon in SCCA events (sometimes quicker). He finished in the trophies at nationals last year as well. Stu Fain is the regional ASP runner up in his GT3 (on hoosiers, but he will be on street tires). Robeson is very fast in his RX8 as well (another national guy) when on Hoosiers. Vell Johnson is also usually a bit quicker than Moon. Even Chris in the 993 is somewhat quick. I am leaning towards Frederick, but I may make a game time decision to come down still and run in the afternoon.
What do you mean? You are going to run both that same day? Dont you have to stay to do the cones on the second part? O.o
BTW, is it better to run AM or PM? O.o
