Smile Hill's Garage and LSD/ gear swap

Just posted this up in the Engine/drivetrain section https://my350z.com/forum/engine-and-...ml#post9172709. Thought some here might be interested in the performance characteristics of the diff improvements and the job done by Hill's!

What other mods do you have? I saw your car there mine was there having having ES bushings installed front and rear.

I'm thinking about upgrading from my 3.5 to a 3.7 I'm 5at also with the transgo.

Do you have a pic of your dyno sheet? I put down 263hp on hills dyno without cams. Just want to see the difference if I want to install cams or not.

Engine mods- headers, plenum spacer, K&N Drop in filter, HKS DLI II, C2 cams, UpRev reflash
Tranny- Trans Go shift kit, Cooler, Works Bell paddle shifters

Dyno sheet attached. The day this was done it was super hot and after about 10 pulls, my tranny was starting to slip some a lot. Ambient was like 95 and my transmission was close to 200 if not over. You can see, my best torque was run 1 at about 230 and WHP topped out at 259.4 and run 9.

These cams will give you 10-15 hp for certain. You might also think about the C8 Wolf cams- a little more aggressive but still streetable I think.

diff mods are def worth the cash on this platform, glad you like the new upgrade. Aside from oil coolers, this is one of the mods I'd recommend doing

^More than once, actually. Aside from race tires.....LSD is the best mod IMO. You'll have to adjust to driving the car. It will push more under partial throttle, etc than it did with the VLSD. I lowered my entry speed ever so slightly and compensated with getting on the power earlier and keeping the entry wide and exit tight.

That makes sense. The first time I got on the throttle the car wanted to push (under steer) but a slight correction took care of that. The solid SPL bushing adds to that effect I think. The rear does NOT move at all. I was mid-corner yesterday and nailed the throttle and shifted from 2nd to 3rd. At full throttle the rear gave a nice hard twitch like it wanted to step out but did not slide when it went into 3rd. That's partly TranGo shift kit too because it shifts very hard. I am anxious to try it at Summit Main this fall.

I may be there with SCCA as well. As long as I don't have any conflicts.

^ The July PDX is only PDX and is on the Shenandoah circuit. The Last one is time trial and PDX on the main circuit. I will likely work the July one and maybe try to go out as little if I can.
