Guys yesterday I was invited to go on this car cruise from Winchester VA to Deep Creek MD through rt50 and then back on 68 to 70. This year there was supposed to be more exoctics but the rain kept those prudes at home. It only rained for about 10 miles of the 50 part. Anyways this year we went to Black Bear Tavern in Deep Creek where they reserved parking for us and had a baffet and cash bar. While we were there they had a mini car show. Then it was off home. Just like last year the fun and totally unmature part was the ride home on 68. This year there were different players. Three stangs, a corvette LS1 fitted GTO, and a 2011 Vette were in the 650hp range and trust me it showed on 68! I ran my car hard and I was barely on par with them. Very impressed with them!!! Anyways, there were several cars from a souped up Buick GN to a 400hp STI. I am a fan of people who turn wrenches and dont just buy off the shelf. So even though I had the only nissan I was treated very nicely and my Z got a lot of attention. Once again I wish I would have been able to invite Alberto as Z's with his power just dont exist out here in the sticks. Alberto much respect to you as the power your putting out means you have spent a lot of money and have overcome many problems to achieve it! I putting 495hp to the wheel I thought was impressive but these built cars have me wanting more! Once I pay off my wedding who knows maybe a phone call to Frank and Suzanne might be in order. Anyways, I apologize to all my Mid A brothern for not getting down to any city shows but its been a frantic spring/summer with so many projects and the wedding/honeymoon. Yesterday was only the third time I have driven my Z since this cruise last Aug! Anyways, enjoy the pics. Robert
