Lesson learned. When I upgraded and bought all the new stuff I should've just bought a new surge protector as well.

The newer ones arent crazy expensive but definitely have some nice features on them like eliminating power drain etc when things are in Stand by and decent nosie and interference filtering (ive needed this when using projectors). I also like the ones that protect Coaxial cables and phone lines (not that I have phone lines but sometimes ive needed it for alarms). The Coax one is nice if you have an HD antenna. I dunno, for $60-$100 you get a lot for your money.

 

Clay, sometimes devices will over heat causing them to shut down into a safe mode, after X much time they turn back on.

I don't think the strip was the issue unless everything else was acting up also.

 

Welp, just came back with a brand new power strip ($79.99, or 1500 nickels?) replugged everything and it's working fine again. Also picked up DOA 5 too.

Once again, no clue why this happened but if it was the power strip I'd much rather be out of pocket $80 than have to replace my whole condo due to an electrical fire.
But if this thing goes black again I'm putting this b*tch on the curb and getting another Samsung.

Its funny how the people on the video complaint about the other GTR driver when they did the exact same thing.

The only difference is that the guy after them had to pass the truck and the guys with the camera at the same time.

These two were lucky they passed the truck a few feet before the crest.

 

Oh crap! I didn't even noticed that the user that uploaded the video is called "Alex Shin"!

 

Damn... classic case of not knowing the roads/ area and making a very bad decision, I don't think either of those cars had to accelerate that hard to pass that truck, especially because a turn circle was coming up and they could have got around him afterwards...
