[NSFW] Mid-A Epic Random-ness: Third Encounter
I played paintball every weekend for 1yr. Still have my gear and a decent market that needs o-rings changed. Tanks need hydro testing by now.
Was extremely fun. We tore $hit up. Handled the "jersey" kids. Almost got into a few scraps lol
Good times.

Change the rings, get your tanks worked out and join me next weekend at PAP, Was planning on going Saturday and joining a random recball game. Would be nice to have someone to work with, last weekend my friend and I tore b!tches up.
We could do cardio many different ways.
Running
Playing football soccer basket ball tennis
Martial arts
Paint ball
Hiking
Of those things, how many does the mid a do as a group?
As of right now Kyle played paint ball once
Ethan use to play bball guessing that will pickup in the summer
And we ride bikes.
The fun with riding bikes is that it's a great group, the group is what makes it.
The only time I hear anything from anyone is when we are going up a hill that takes great cardio and towards the end people will normally yell positive things like you can do it, don't stop, push hard! It's no different then when you are lifting weights and a spotter is telling you to do one last rep.
As far as down hill goes, no one says ****, see you at the bottom, we normally space it out so the first person goes then the next guy 15-20 seconds later and the fastest go first, slower last.
We chill at the bottom of the hills. For the most part there's not a lot of places where you will get messed up other then the place me and zain went down. No one was around me when i went down, in fact they asked a hiker if they saw anyone go down since I didn't show up at the bottom.
Oddly enough, if I had been hauling *** behind Alberto I would have most likely taken his riding line and wouldn't have crashed.
Riding alone really isn't a good idea, you'll just get lost lol
The hardest part is up the hills, and it's nice having people help set the pace so you don't take a break every 50 feet. Down hill is where it's dangerous and that is only if you allow it to be.
Chances are you will wreck at least once per ride. And by wreck I mean fall over around 0-2mph when you hit failure going up a hill. You'll stop, put your foot down, step in soft ground/mud and roll over in a oops kind of way.
This is something that people are doing almost every week, from Dan, Charles, Alberto, Jeffrey, me, barny shawna... What else does this forum do that brings that many people together on a regular basis?
Thursday nights in Rockville? That's about it.

just pulled the trigger on some Pilot Super Sports, was a tough decision between these and the RE-11's (especially because the RE-11's were on sale) but hoping they are a solid tire
RE11As are coming out thats why they are on sale, should have waited, but its not like you really can

yea the A's are already out, but they didn't have the size I needed, the bigger reason I got the PSS's was for the tread wear rating, and the fact that it comes with a tread depth of 10/32" and a warranty

Man just read about a crazy crash last weekend at summit point, I don't know how instructors stay calm on the day to day, especially after reading about unfortunate accidents such as this one:
The student and instructor in a late model Mustang after entering the front straight, the student swerves to avoid a small piece of flying debris, drops two wheels off drivers left just after the start bridge.
Overcorrects to return to the track, the cars continues across the track, goes off drivers right hitting the drainage ditch just before the first crossover road, then contacting a four deep tire wall, over and up a bank, rolled several times taking out sections of wooden fence polls and boards, before coming to rest just past the SCCA sound.
Fence post (four by four wood post) comes through the floor, and passenger seat, impaling through the instructor exiting out the instructor's abdomen. Instructor is life flighted to Fairfax Hospital. Serious surgery, no updates. Student cuts and bruises.
nah not all out yet
