I picked it up at Fort Chaffee Outfitters, Fort Chaffe/Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Elvis Presley went to basic training there. I spent almost 4 days driving around and looking for a Colt, Sig, Bushmaster. There are better rifles out there like the Daniel Defense, Bravo company etc. but that would start ranging into the 2k price range... I have to stick to my ricer budget.

Got it for 1200 taxes included. It was difficult finding the perfect AR imo. Either the prices were 100-300 difference depending on brand or variations/options. For example I found other brands like Smith& Wesson for 100 dollars less but it had polymer sights vs magpul iron detachable sights. Plus the Sig had built in sling groves+ storage compartment under the trigger assembly.

S&W has a beefer one piece magazine well, and a different muzzle break, however the Sig is a better quality rifle. A quick giveaway is the amount of torsion when twisting the lower and upper assembly, if it flexes, than its cheap. Another determing factor was the chrome-lined and phosphate coated barrel, which some lower end rifles don't have. Sig is an intermidate rifle and definitely capable for what I intend to use it for, become a better marksman. I need to shoot bette than 32/40 targets lol.

Here's the exact model I have:

Just a reference in comparing the Colt to Sig rifles:

All in all, budget and preference is what helped me make a descion. A gun shop in my hometown had a little bit better prices, but he was a douchebag so I chose to spend my money elsewhere.

Gonna save up my nickels and possibly pick this bipod:

Ha! No, went from a cheap violin I got from Bills music shop a while ago to a hand crafted Chinese violin, eventually in a few more months I will trade it in for a European violin.

You got hand made then hand crafted, some parts are made from a machine while some were made by hand, the Chinese ones aren't as good as the European ones because majority of them are hand made. But to answer your question Potter Violin of Bethesda told me that, they have in house luthiers that makes them. The European entry level one was an extra $800 more then the one I bought. Great thing about violins are they don't depreciate in value as much as other things might. so later on I can trade up to a better quality and only pay the difference.
