[NSFW] Mid-A Epic Random-ness: Third Encounter
I can't get over on how nice the weather is here back at home. I'm currently chilling with my pops and grilling some chicken. I'm gonna change my oil today and maybe even look at a bushmaster ar15 and some 30 round mags

I'll post up a thread for a meet later on. It would be nice to get even more cars than last year's turnout. So long as they're not nickel drivers. ..

So I've been spending a lot of time reading/researching AR15's or similar rifles...
I had my mind made up on Colt, Bushmaster, Sig Sauer... etc but have yet to find one in nearby towns that I like with a decent price range.
AR-15's
Sig Sauer 1200 + 9% Tax
Armilite $890+ 9% tax
Dpms 870+ 9% Tax
I read and been told that basically rifles are the same material, ie made very similar but w/a different stamp. Then of course, you get what you pay for, Armilite brand...
I kinda want to steer away from the AR15 because I remember how sh1tty these rifles are with a little bit of sand or water in the bolt carrier/magazine well. Maybe a bigger round that packs a punch/better stoping power?...
A wild Dpms appears:

^^^Found one locally for 1100 including tax, almost tempted to pull the trigger (pun intended) however I am still wondering on the prices of accesories, magazines, bipods, better buttstock etc. The average box of rounds is like 28 doll hairs.
I read about the trigger assembly being a bit rough and people replacing the barrel... I feel like I'll be adjusting to the rifle first vs trying to upgrade based of internet reviews. Damn I have a lot to learn. Any gurus want to give me advice, flame away

Not trying to stir up an argument:
"If guns kill people, then pencils misspell words, cars make people drive drunk, and spoons make you fat." -Will Ferrell
People have hobbies, collecting stamps, building star wars monuments, competing in motorsports events, tipping bartenders nickels, pool leagues, mountain biking etc.
I've always wanted a rifle since the day I got out, but didn't have the urge to buy one. I'd like to compete in some kind of event. I shot second place in the wheelchair games hosted by PVA in Omaha, Nebraska in 2009. I don't believe in the slaughtering of innocent people nor do I hunt game for sport. I value life.
Back on the subject. DPMS Oracle 308 yay or nay?

Sadly as far fetched as Kyle saying we should go to the Tokyo auto show.
Gotta work up to it man! Like a nickel at a metal concert, one cannot simply go straight into mountain biking without months of planning before hand.

I know
On such short notice to get out and enjoy a nice beautiful day going for a stress free ride... What was I thinking?
For anyone worried about being left behind or anything like that fountain head is a Mountain bike park with all one way trails and maps at every intersection. It is almost impossible to get lost or off track. so there is no pressure to ride fast or anything. Always stop at intersections until everyone is caught up.
