[NSFW] Mid-A Epic Random-ness: Third Encounter
Wasn't sure if this warranted it's own thread but figured I'd ask anyways since others might find it informative as well. Which home insurance company are the Mid-A homeowner's using? I currently have AHS and luckily have never had to put in a claim for anything, but looks like I may need them for some work. My policy is due to re-up soon. Someone just called my phone at work from an unrecognized number, I Googled the number and turns out it's my insurance company and one of the first sites I see is how badly they suck:

Now I'm thinking I don't want them if they've got such a horrible reputation with customers. Just curious who you guys are using or who you'd recommend.

You're right, however if the car had **** wheels on it I would have pulled them ASAP.
First thing I did when I got my car was went from roof to tires and pulled damn near everything off and put it back on, had the front suspension out, brakes at all 4 corners off, front passenger side hub, removed/reinstalled 2 axles, replaced sway bar bushings, replaced axle seals, transmission seals, exhaust removed/reinstalled transmission fluid replaced, rear dif fluid, all engine fluids, replaced orings on dip stick, had interior out, half the dash apart, radio removed and reinstalled, all 4 wheels have been off, sandpapered, buffed, and waxed... That was before I dropped it off at andrew tech for them to do a 1 over on the car and get it tuned.
All without 1 month of getting it.
Yup I bought a turn key car.
Care to talk about what you've done to YOUR car? How about you list the mods on your car? I can tell you everything on my car since I've had everything off it before putting it back on.

I'm just messing with ya, but based on your quote, you drive Anhs car.

I understand man. I'm trying to decide between a Winnebago or just an SUV to tow the Z. Trackside rooms at VIR are not that expensive, and rooms near summit point are cheap as well.
Yeah, on the national scene, a whole lot of people tow/live in an RV during the events. I can't work any math where an RV becomes remotely a money neutral/making opportunity. Not to mention, any gas win or rv will get about 6 mpg towing a trailer. The diesels do better, but cost $texas up front.
