I ran a family business that ended when the owners divorced bitterly.

I began on my own 12/11 and haven't looked back. Commercial cleaning/building maintenance.

Details on courthouse? Do you literally just go and pay for a license? No oath or witness? Waiting period?

 

Im not sure of the details. I wasnt smart enough to go that route. Both of us are wishing we did though. The 120+ asians that are coming to my wedding are getting difficult to deal with. I think I have 187 people total coming (out of 240 invited). There is so much ******** to manage and take care of... and its the little things that are a pain in the ***. And it seems that people dont know WTF they are talking about half the time. I mean this is their job and no one is reliable. They say one thing and then when it comes down to it everything is an upcharge. Oh you wanted color table clothes? thats $2 extra a person. How the hell do you charge table clothes by the person. Shouldnt it be by the table?

I mean it will all work out but it has been entirely too much stress

Guessing price depends on county, we did it in Annapolis, I think it was $25 for the marriage license, the waiting time I believe is 48 hours if not then its 72 hours. The cost of the person that marries you is around $20 and no you don't need anyone, the person who marries you is the wittiness.



That's the room at the Annapolis court house, Linh, Me and The 25-30 year old guy that married us. Quick in and quick out.

A few months later we threw a big party in the backyard of my parents house cost us about $1000,00 between food and needed items.

Best way to do a wedding, F going into debt just to say I do, if you really love the person it doesn't matter how you do it.

10-20 years from now, when money isn't an issue, if (whoever) is still together, throw a big *** awesome wedding.

I didn't ask any questions and went along with whatever the county did, we lined up, held each others hand and did the whole I take yolanda to be my wife and promise to always be there for her for better or worse until death yada yada.

Doesn't matter what county you live in, you can get married anywhere, you just need a marriage license from the county you plan on getting married in.

I always wondered what they charge, can't be too much more than the next guy in that area.

Maryland the low end is $120/hr mid $150 and high $200

Guessing in ny it's $200 at the bottom end and up to $300 for higher end shops.
