[NSFW] Mid-A Epic Random-ness: Third Encounter
I saw some white smoke one day when it was a little cold out and CEL was on then next time i went to drive it, it was fine. All levels are good and CEL went away. I honestly have no idea what threw it, my code reader couldn't read the code. I have put like 200 more miles on it since the code thew last, so think its good.
Part of my interview with artist was to check out the store, view the autoclave paperwork, and see how they run.
Thankfully most shops are clean although more need to post up their autoclave testing stuff.
The shop that did mine has the autoclave paperwork on the wall as soon as you come in, it's the first and last thing you see when you go.

Does she have an outside company come in and test her autoclave monthly?
Does she solder her own needles our buy them predone?
Anytime she does anything does she change her gloves? The guy doing mine changes his gloves 20 times a session.
Does she use disposable ink holders/trays?
Does everything that gets touched by you and her get covered/wrapped?
Post up your tattoos again I can't remember them.

And no, I've never caught the Hep C from any of my pieces. Even my first piece that was done in some White trash chick's kitchen.
Have you tested for it?
Chances are you are fine, the risk just jump up a lot when done at home....
Now the aids on the other hand, black male leaving near dc.... That one would scare me more.

has anyone been to Capitol since they revamped the place? Apparently it's suppose to be better than before since they changed hands. If anyone is interested in renting out the track one night (Friday night most likely) between the hours of 12-5 (before Track and Tune). Get at least 20 people it will be $50/per person, or less if we get more. Looking at doing this in Sept when it is cooler out.
I would be down if you can get enough people, but with 20 people you are probably looking at closer to $80+ a person, unless prices have changed drastically. Still if you can garner enough interest I am in.
I would be down, I need to check my schedule, but Thursday may work best (unless I am off that weekend ha)
There is a slieght chance we may not need to pay. Might have my store pay for it since the new owner is one of our stores main customer and a few of our other customers race their cars/trucks. Able to make it a store expense if we can get it approved.
