Major Oil Consumption Problem...looking for help

Unfortunate!

Thanks for all the help guys!

I'll just wait till the motor gets worse then I'll get a new one or something. I've had the OC issues for quite some time and as long I keep adding oil it runs fine. Had the car 5 years and just had to get the transmission changed onced, and that was within the first month of buying the car.

Just got to keep my eyes open for a used motor and then work from there.

I'll make sure I don't get my car tuned at AAM again :-)

Sluggish is an understatement. You may be running 80 percent of spec compression in each cylinder. Figure 20 percent drop in peak horsepower.

Better sooner than later. Motor will not fix itself. It will get worse.

Oil use sucks.
Performance sucks.
MPG sucks.

At some point oil will not lubricate cylinder walls. Oil pressures falls fast. The motor will seize.
