Wanted to give props to moore automotive and the team they have in fairfax. I took my car there for a up rev tune, and chris took care of me.Chris was knowledgeable and took his time. I met john, co owner Chazz and many others.Thr shop is clean and well maintained.I would definately recommend this shop to others in the area. I will definately be back for further upgrades.

Same here! So far my experience with them had been really good. Knowledgeable, professional, and super clean shop. Now I'm waiting for the result so I can post for a full review.

I called these guys about a clutch and flywheel during my break and got quoted 725, Nissan of Chantilly quoted me 550. They said they would see if they could price match, wonder why it's so much more?

Picked the car up yesterday. The car drove extremely well for about 10 miles. I guess the switch from slugghish UTEC to Osirus really made a night and day difference. But then CEL started flashing. Read the code and it said P0300 - Multiple Random Misfiring. Towing the car back to Moore to get it checked on Friday. Stay tuned!
So 2 things happened in the shop prior to me picking up the car.
The shop checked my plugs cuz my voltage was up and down on the dyno. They said the gapping was incorrect and they fixed that. But the plugs looked okay. Maybe I do need new plugs. They are the one step colder plugs but they're quite old even though visually they looked okay to the shop. They also replaced the alternator and fixed the voltage issue.
Another thing was the shop upgraded my MAF sensor to the one made by UpRev.

Mike can you link me to any thread that is related to Uprev MAF sensor issue? I couldn't find anything.

Check all the grounds especially the ones on the front timing cover that attach to the frame rail. Loose grounds (or maybe even a bad alternator?) could fry coils. Also you mention you had a UTEC those are known to fry coils over time maybe it's just time... hopefully it's a simple fix. You can tell if a coil is gone quite easily by the way it idles and revs... way down on power and sounds funny.
So more on this... Got a more specific code. Random misfire on cylinder 2. So I swapped the coilpacks around. Swapped 2 with 6. Cleared code and drove around. No CEL... it just would not kick in... WTF?
Finally able to trigger the CEL. Still said cylinder 2 after I swapped the coils. Swapped spark plugs and did the same run and it still said cylinder 2. I guess the next candidate is the MAF sensor. But... off to Moore Auto I go (on a flat bed)!
