Pretty bad. I got three runs in, 13.7 when I first got there after driving in 90 degree stop and go traffic. Then my last run around 10pm was a 13.54. My best previously was a 13.39.
I need to learn where to shift with the new gears. I just put 4.08's in and for some reason decided to shift around 7100. Doing that I ended up crossing the 1/4 at 7100rpm in 4th each time.
I was mainly working on my launch with my new LSD put it. I was able to get a 1.9x 60ft that night, which I had only done once before. I was able to launch around 3k rpm, where before if I did anything above 2500rpm I would spin tires.
It was a good learning experience, just gotta get more seat time and figure out shift points with the new gears.

7100, 7000, 6700, run it out in 4th.
2nd gear goes so fast especially with gears you want to land higher into 3rd. That's assuming you have a DE and it's usual powerband with bolt ons.

In fact, that might have been your suggestion bert? I know someone posted on here a long time ago.
Of course, only getting three runs in with hours in between each run didn't help.
Def keep a lot of all your info per run.
Tire pressure. Launch rpm. Did you slip or drop the clutch too quick? All shift points, etc
You will quickly start to see what works and what doesn't. Good luck! Keep at it.

Running a HR. I'm going to have to go back to the suggestion someone made before of making a sheet, writing down the shift points, trying them out and noting the results.

Maybe it's because I'm F/I but the higher I shift without hitting redline ends up fastest. Short shifting any gear or tapping redline will end up a slower run. Even though my power drops off 500rpm or so before fuel cut.
try the shift point calculator in this thread to maybe get a idea if you have the needed info. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...Xta9gg&cad=rja
Do you want to maximize TQ or HP? It doesn't say in the chart...
If I lower my shiftpoints from redline in the chart I have more avg TQ but less avg HP.
In practice this usually ends up in slower times so I'm gonna assume more HP is better for E/T.
