Default 350Z in ALMS GT?

I was just reading the Jan issue of R&T and saw a quote that says ALMS officials expect to see BMW, Nissan, Corvette and Ferrari entries into the GT class. I know Downshift has his 350 racing in Grand Am series. Has anyone heard any info for the 350 in ALMS this year? I know not to hold R&T to too much after that $75k racing GT report. It would be great to see a Z team in ALMS this year!

The Z will not be in the ALMS this year. Who knows what the future holds though. The project did not get the proper fuding to come over for the ALMS. It should be competeing in Japans GT series.

Well I guess I'll have to come see you race at VIR to get my fill! Good luck in Daytona! Are Grand Am races as accessable for the fans as ALMS? I loved how you could walk through the pits at the Petite Le Mans. It was amazing to see Prodrive field-strip a 550 maranello right in front of me. Didn't you say you drove the Racer's Group GT3 in that race? I got a sweet picture of that car as they were loading it in the truck after it blew up 5 hours in.

I drove with Kevin at the Mid Ohio ALMS race. We won the GT class. This year I wil also be racing with ACEMCO Motorsports in a 360GT in the ALMS. VIR will be a great track for our Z........
The Grand Am series is much more fan friendly I think.........escp the Cup series.....
Come on out and take a look........

Yeah, I saw the press release on the 360. I'm glad to see another Ferrari in GT. I was getting bored of all the GT3s out there. I will definitely make the Petite again this year. Will your 350Z sponsor have a booth for consumers at the Grand Am races for your suspension parts?

That sounds great Dwnshift. Will the Japanese GT effort go to LeMans? I assume that's their real goal.

Default Downshift: will you be racing in No Calif

I have been looking forward to ALMS this year and watching a 350Z in the race. Disappointed to hear that this has been scratched. I guess I'll settle for Le Mans on Speed Vision and any othe private entries.
Will you be racing in No Calif--Sears or Laguna Seca?
