Default 145 and counting

decided to let her (lemans enthusiast) stretch her legs out this weekend. hit 145 on the outer beltline in raleigh, NC. she was still pulling hard when i had to let off because of traffic in front of me. the handling at this speed was wonderful. felt like i was going half that speed. all that with me and my girlfriend in the car.

i continue to be more and more impressed with this car everyday. best money i've ever spent.

anyone hit the rev limiter in 6th yet??

not possible, 6600RPMS in 6th is around 183mph, a few things are stopping that from happening

biggest thing is the speed limiter at 156.(tho some say its drag limited)

if it is electronically limited, you then look to the dyno graph. 156mph in 6th is like 5600RPMS, 6200 is max hp, hypothetically you could possibly hit 6200 since hp continues to increase to offset drag, the question is if it increases fast enough to offset, or if theyll hit equilibrium at some point before that. after that the hp declines, and you gaurenteed that hp will not be sufficient to continue acceleration with increasing drag.

I've seen a video of a Z hitting 159.
