Default AutoX at 3com park - 2/23/03

nice turn out. Four Z's there including me. I seen our very own zPilott there (silverstone? - track).. a brickyard touring (frost interior is sweeeeeet) and a Daytona Blue Touring. Reprezent them Z's baby!! A black s2000 and a corvette ran 50 secs.. that was sweeeet. people were usually getting 58s - 60's.

Thumbs up Way to Go ZPilot

I had the Brickyard and ran 55.9 with one pylon. Dolf was the faster this week with 55.4. He is comming on. We missed the faster Z though. Kevin couldn't change his tires and missed the start. He has Hoosers and is very fast. I look forward to see him run.

Autocross is a real blast and the Z does a great job.

Default s9am me: Sign up with SCCA and run Autocross

We run a twice a month on average. Wear is not bad but the ability to hang out the car is a excellent test of driving skill and teaches you your cars limits in a safe area.

I just talked to my AutoX friend and he came in third in his Yellow S2000. He also said the black S2000 driver is very, very good.

Were you guys running on race tires or street tires?

I guess it's high time I join so I can start going to some of these events and begin to meet the rest of you guys.

Keep up the cool posts.

All the Z's that have run so far have been on street tires (I am pretty sure they were all the stock tires) Kevin (who won F Stock last year) is going to be running with race tires (and would have at the last event, but had some trouble removing his street rims (for some reason he didn't want to run on his chrome 19's).

Zpilott- I missed last Sunday at the stick. My kids were there with their 510s. It was so late, I guess they nearly ran with their lights on. I would like to consult with you about the seat fix. I actually used your post to convince the dealer that the seat problem is almost universal. He is still 'talking to Nissan Rep' however.

I can hardly wait until the tread is gone from the stock tires so that I can justify the upgrade to Bridgestone Pole Positions. Looking forward to seeing the 350 run with an experienced driver and proper tires.

Doh: I'm glad that you're are thinking of attending. more of us is better. I learned about grounding wires, tire combinations and 3M film on the bumpers, etc from other 350 owners.

I'd be happy to show you the fix I did (I should be able to make it to the next event) I think I was working when the 510s were running (last run group?) those look like fun to throw around the course

When do the runs start? I'd like to see a couple of 350Z's doing their thing.

There are 8 groups and the 350Zs run in the 7th group (B Stock) on March 2 at the Oakland Coliseum. They try to finish the first 4 groups in the morning and start the last 4 groups after lunch. A good guess is that BS will run midafternoon. Isn't if great that 350s run in B.S.--I've seen BS used a great deal on my350.com--mine and others
