I'll let you know Saturday...... I'm aiming for a 13.7.. Why you ask? Cause I already ran a 13.90 and that was with only 1700 miles. Now with full synthetics and 13,000 miles, I know my car is faster........

I think the fastest Z car right now runs 13.7@104 mph, so far.
I know of one Vq powered car goin in the mid 13's today, but it ain't a Z

That "other car" is a Altima with slicks... Give me slicks and I'll show you a low 13. Oh, and did I mention my Z is a base with out a LSD... Lets see how my balding 17" potenzas hold up on Sat.

No bro...i'm runnin on my stock All Season tires . i'm gonna try to see if the slicks work...if they fit i would maybe hit low low 13's or a high 12.90 or so..... being my mph will be around 104-105 range.
BTW i'm a one legger too, and my car is also base, so don't feel to bad

yes but you also have mods whereas most of us Z drivers have yet to really start with anything on our cars. give it time and we will be faster.

Default I don't feel bad that I have a base

I was mentioning that because no limited slip. What I feel bad about is that your 3.5 SE alt cost as much as my 350Z.... J/K

Good luck fellow VQ racer

J's350z,
How did you dyno so high with just the minor mods you have? 20 extra hp at the wheels. I'm confused.

Well, a base 5sp 3.5 Altima is like 5 grand less than a base Z. And it also has no LSD, which is what I think he meant when he said
"BTW i'm a one legger too"
I wonder if a LSD from a 6sp Maxima would fit on the Altima?
But its different strokes for different folks, the altima has a lot more space but the Z is a sports car. I'll take the sports car, but if I had kids, I'd take the Altima....or both.

Default My Dyno

My Actual #'s were what I posted, Corrected #'s were 256.9hp and 249.8 TQ. This was with a giant fan in front of the car and the hood open. All I can compare my numbers to is Daytona from this site dyno'd the same time I did and I had 10 more hp and 8 more lbs of tq. And yes to the miles, I have 12,850 right now and that includes a trip from NJ to Miami for 3 weeks. I received my car in October and been having lots of fun with it....

Cars are made to be driven Cars hold their value just about as bad as anything out there, so enjoy them for anyone counting miles

Nothing annoyed me more than 90% the bikes I'd see were 2-3 year old bikes with 1-2k miles on them, sometimes under 1000 on a 3 year old bike! haha, not even broken in!

Oh, I know cars were made to be driven, just not certain cars in the kind of weather we get up here. Granted, Fargo has one of the best snow removal programs, I still would not like to hit a patch of ice with my TA. Some people are braver than I am I guess. Untill it gets warmer, I will drive the Parisienne. A trip from Jersey to Miami explains a lot. It just seemed a little hig fo bieng brand new, thats all.

Hey... my Z is a base too, I'm thinking of borrowing some slick's just to see how it goes.
