Well, I kept my 17" wheels for track/autox use and I am shopping for some R compund tires to go on them, currently looking at the Kumho Victoracers V700 due to price, you don;t seem to carry those.

I have 3 sets of wheels:
For street, I have 17x9 Firehawk wheels with Nitto 275/40/17 555RII's.

For race, I have been using 17x9 2002 WS6 wheels with 275/40/17 Kuhmo V700 (both Victoracer and Ecsta).

I just aquired a set of four AFS 17x11 Grand Sport wheels (black with polished lip) that I plan to run 315/35/17 Nitto drag radials on all four corners for autox/track events. Before you laugh about the DR's, I have 2 friends that run them with great success.

yes, I'm thinking I will probably go with the 5 spoke enkei's since price/weight is more important than looks, even though they don't look bad either.

Any chance of getting kuhmo victorracers with them?

Hey..2003z...your right on those sizes...sure hope I drive/AutoX better than I type....Joe Z

PS...Look into the 5Zigen...Moderatly Priced and Not Bad Looking...

I am AutoXing against my son and the Porsche Club he belongs too...He has a well set up 944 Turbo....and he and some club members are suggesting the sizes mentioned...He usually runs in the top 3 for FTD....

As Todd said above, I ordered the RPO-2 in 17x9 with 255/40s all around from him yesterday!

Thanks for all the research and getting me those tires Todd!
