I saw this mean looking TA today, I think it said it was a MEAKEM???(sp?) It sounded mean as hell, do you guys know anything about these. I didn't get a chance to run, but by looks and sound of it, it probally would of ripped me a new one.

The T/A and Z28 are the same with around of 345HP 375TQ. The SS is a 8-10HP and 10-12TQ more for the better catback. Thats about it.

 

I used to own a 98 SS Camaro, and it's been my experience that Mecham and G2, etc. are pretty much a waste of money. You pay an outrageous price for a useless spoiler and decals. Then again, this is just my $.02, but if you're going to spend that kind of money on a car, go with Lingenfelter. They're firm believers in real performance, not in looking fast and not being able to back it up.

 

6 spds have about 300-320 RWHP...you can forget about GM's "ratings"...

TA / Z28 / WS6 / SS / Formula...they're all the same as far as HP...MAYBE 5 HP for the WS6 / SS, but engine tolerances can cancel that out...

A Lingenfelter TT Z06 beat an F16 (yes, that's a jet) in the quarter mile. =)
