They are very evenly matched. It has been my experience on the track that stock for stock, the Z will walk the rx in the straights. My brother in law has a 93 with only 40k miles and we run all the time. A great car!

yeah, I know. We just put in a new koyo radiator last weekend. They run very hot. Hopefully that will give him a few more miles. He is very particular about taking care of the turbos. Hopefully it will last longer than average.

That new radiator will most lokely help but you might also might want to get an aftermarket hood with vents in it. Mazdaspeed has a nice hood on the market.

yeah i remember him overheating at ViR, time to add an Oil cooler as well? that'll help, is it an auto or manual?

BTW, we walked away from him pretty easily at VIR on the roadcourse, a very nice car, but the Z was faster hands down, straight and curvies.
