Hey everyone. Haven't been here in a LONG time. Anyways, I haven't done much racing this summer. If anyone around PA/NJ is up for a race, just say so.


I took my Buick to Atco last summer. My best run was a 12.93 at 104.31 mph with a 1.83 60'. In case you're wondering, that was on street tires with 94 octane pump gas. I'm probably capable of ~12.5 at 109-112 mph (just a guess), but I'm too cheap to buy some slicks or a tank of 104 octane gas.

 

If you come up to Beaver Springs some weekend I'd be up for a race. My Buick would probably be a good match for yours but it is all torn apart right now getting a new front end, disc brakes, etc. I may race down at Cecil County later in the year too, but I want to get a set of ET Streets for the Z before I do any more racing with it to try to help with the wheel hop and get some better 60's.

Mmmmmm...cookie. But seriously, I'll take a race? But anyways, my times are going to drop quite a bit in a few weeks. I am getting new injectors, blow-off valve, and downpipe. I'm shooting for high 11's with slicks and 104 octane.

Haha. Your car sounds pretty wicked to me. First let me get the injectors, BOV, and downpipe, then we'll race. And I'm sorry man, but I will be using the slicks and 104 octane.

Ran a 12.4 at 113 before the cam...Now it should be in the 11s somewhere... (a buddy of mine ran an 11.8 at 119 with a very similar setup on DRs)
