got some photos from my tuner today... she should be ready tomorrow afternoon if everything goes as planned (both UR and stock crank pulleys are balanced, but somehow my UR pulley isn't back from the engine shop and they are chasing it down, so for now, the engine is using the stock crank pulley)
Engine with front engine cover off, you can see those nismo VTC units, look exactly the same as the stock items besides they have "55°" written on top of them.

Engine with stock crank pulley and 05 lower plenum + MD spacer shown

Fujitsubo headers...

will post some updates tomorrow after I get her back home...

z350Lover, you should look into the Crawford throttle body. It doesnt do anything for stock cars, but with cams it seems to help out. Might even help more since you have higher CR.

It did take a while for me to take my car back but everything is worth it!
Guess what?! We have run out of injectors (stock ones)... yes... 100%!!! We were sooo surprised that we would actually run out of injectors on a N/A tuned engine though, end result 212.5rwKW... that caused some power loss from around 7200rpm to 8000rpm... if we have more fuel to balance out with the air, the top end will keep it at 212.5rwKW or so all the way to 8000rpm... You can see the A/F ratio and compare it to the dyno curve...
The only baseline that I have got is 220rwHP (headers, cats, nismo cat back, flywheel, intake and unichip).... and right now, I have got 289rwHP with cams and internals... so the total gain of 69rwHP... and my max. power occurs around 7200rpm or so now...
The engine is slightly noiser now due to the Ferrea valve train set (compare to the engine sound before valve float happened)... but it is still a lot quieter and smoother than the stock engine...
We will modify the stock injectors a bit to get some volume out... and I will also look at the larger throttle body as well... it should help a bit at the top end though! Drove it home today and I did several 8000rpm gear changes already... it is awesome and this motor just keeps on pulling and pulling all the way to 8000rpm... I can feel the power all the way through! This should really be the engine for the 350z!
Here is the dyno curve from this afternoon's tuning @ Nizpro...

and here is the link to my Dyno clip... all the way to 8000rpm... it pulls so hard... Save it first before watching it!

While I was there, Nizpro tuned Ferrari F355 was there for the service too... for those people who don't know about this beast... it is a TWIN TURBO F355... pulling out 550rwKW (738rwHP) @ 12.5psi... with 11.5:1 compression ratio still!
Here is a video of that Ferrari "idling"... sounds very mean and loud... LOUD for a street car though!

Enjoy them!

Thanks Kyle and Bill...
So I think what this dyno result gives is that going from 10.3:1 compression ratio to 11.5:1 will yield around 14rwKW (19rwHP), considering Ferrea valve train parts don't gain/lose any rwHP compare to standard valve setup... I was actually expecting the result like what I have got, but many people thought it would have been a lot higher... therefore, people who are going down this route have a clear idea on how much gain they can get out of those CR pistons roughly now.![Smilie](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Jun,
I have worked out the cost for a few members on the forum and it would be somewhere around USD 27K all up for the performance parts (including motec, exhaust, cams, machining jobs and labours)... but if you are thinking about big power, you can use that for TT + internals and you can easily go up to 600rwHP I believe!
cheers,
richie
