I thought you had those magnesium blue TE37s... or your headlights??
I am very jealous as I am pretty heavily in the NA fan camp... this article is like porno for me http://www.jdm-option.com/eng/featur...2/z33_v35.html
everything you did, I think about and it turned out a lot like I thought it would in my head. I think there are a couple more hp for you as well, so your fun isn't done yet.
and remember, it's only the FI guys that are all about the drama

Ill PM you if I find it.
ImageMixer.com has the updates, but not the base program.
Pixela is the parent comp of the program they have a image mixer 2.0 I think for 49.99 if you want to look into that, I have also been playing around with windows ,movie maker that is installed on most comps, it should do the job, here is the link...

thanks - its a model TVR something....from about 99 (got it before going to Japan for the first time). Was quite expensive back then (around $1000), and its a digital 8. It uses a firewire connection, which I know is not too big of a deal, as I am sure the local compuse has a firewire to usb plug I can get.
I tried Sony's site but they don't have the software for mine anymore...I know I had it at some point, but no idea where it is. Perhaps I still even have the box for it at home, so I will double check that

Adam, I see you are using a UTEC to control your engine management. Is a separate piggy-back device like a UTEC required due to the larger MAF pipe, or do you think the new Osiris firmware flash would be sufficient?
I would like to incorporate some of your designs, like the 3" MAF, and am trying to decide if I should just start off with a UTEC, or if the Osiris software would work. Either way, I plan on having it professionally tuned on a dyno. (After the Osiris Tuner Kit is available.)

Can the Osiris handle the MAF? I would assume so, based on what I know about it. Will it work better/worse than a UTEC remains to be seen.

Thanks for the honest answer, Adam.
I don't know if I'll ever put cams in my car. Are your cams smooth and driveable? I always associate high lift and longer duration with poor idle and a general lopeyness in the lower RPM ranges. Maybe that's not true of modern cams for the VQ.
If I was ever to install cams, I would upgrade the heads, too. Anyway, I enjoy reading about your project! Keep up the good work!

there is definitely a lope to them, so you know the car has cams. All I had to do was bump the idle up and do the TPS reset it holds the idle fine, never stalling, a/c on and off
Some cams will be less lopy, some more. It's not only the duration that matters, but also how the lobe itself is cut. The steeper the ramp angle, the lopier (sp? ) the cam will be
In terms of how the engine itself feels...it literally is smooth as silk. 0 vibrations in the cabin, even with the lope, from idle to redline. That's all due to the balance of the internals
