We're coming to completion with our build but still a few things that I might change in the near future, definitely looking to you for inspiration and advices on this one.

LOL, I thought I was the only one mucking around Colorado's dirt and snow in Advan R-comps. Nothing like a trip up Pikes Peak to give a sports car some real character. Top notch, Aaron!

Now leave this thread before you persuade Adam to abandon the monumental NA phenomenon he has built and join you with his own mid-engined, K-series swapped, 300+ whp, suedo-rally car of death known as the "Darwin's Natural Selection Machine." It pains me to think that you might work to deprive me of some day benefiting from this man's expensive naturally aspirated VQ exploits.

Pay no mind to this man's attempts to sway you from your current project, Adam. Although it is a fact that the Exige is powered by the renewable (and environmentally friendly) energy found in buckets of awesome, and their owners are reported to subsequently look awesome just by owning one, the Exige is really a small toy and not worth your time. Just carry on with your intake project and developing long tube headers for production.

Will (secretly lusts after Exiges)

FYI - After our little track event at the end of October it'll be taken off the road for my little winter project.

Also, those Advan don't wear for ****, I think I got 6k out of the rears. If you get the chance try some Toyo R888s, better grip over time than the AO48s and they last longer. I put them on at 6500 miles and I'm at 13k now with plenty of tread.

Edit - Adam, what color were you thinking of getting?

P.S. - did you know they make a kreis-sieg exhaust for the exige...

I fell in love with this one:

perhaps as a bday present for myself next year .... god knows the last thing I need is another car, especially when I have 2 unfinished ones lolololol

Yep the Toyo's have been great - we've sold quite a bit and people seem to like them alot. We still have those guys that love the Advans too - it's good to have options

there are tons of neat parts for them too....not good I'm partial to the Arquay exhaust though (not that I've been looking heheh)

Not sure why, but I love that color scheme. I'm not big on racing stripes, but that works well. To be honest, it reminds me of a Ducati paint scheme, like it embodies the sophisticated motorsports look of a high-end sport bike, but with four wheels. It looks almost out of place standing still, it so obviously belongs on a road course wailing at 9,000 rpm. Yeah, I love it.

the covers do look hot, they remind me of the honda red tops. got a textured look almost

Any word on what you decide to do on your setup instead of the ITBs? estimated time of finishing it?

Ivory - yep it's a wrinkled finish I did on them, so has a very rough texture, and is matte, not gloss. As for what I'm doing, who said instead?
