I haven't done it but if I did I would make a template with paper first then trace it on to the heatwrap. Measure twice, cut once.

on flat surfaces it will be easy... the tubular shape and tight contours of the MAF housing will be a challenge... a paper template wont get as tight as the material will so it would throw off the geometry... but I'll make it happen.
