i am gonna check and see if the 09 370z has the same part number as the HR for the exhaust manifold. I just got a 370 and left my twin turbo 350z. I want to do a N/A car this time. Much less hassle and more rewarding.

Aren't the torque/hp curves supposed to cross at 5252 rpms??? What is up with those dyno graphs?
We finally got around to testing these longtubes on our roadster and were very impressed with the gains. We're not a site vendor yet unfortunately, so I feel I shouldn't say too much as I don't want to step on any toes here!
I'll just post a few pictures and a spec sheet of the car and invite you guys to email me or pm me with any questions. In a month or two when we sponsor the site we'll be able to talk much more about it!
First:
Stock 2006 Rev-Up Roadster, 220whp
Then:
SGM Intake
SGM Cat-back exhaust
240whp
And Then:
SGM Intake
SGM Cat-back exhaust
Pulstar spark plugs (essentially just adding 3 degrees of timing)
Aftermarket y-pipe (don't even know what kind it is to be honest, it was given to us. I cut it apart and grinded the collector smooth and welded it back together, if that matters).
250.6whp
Finally:
Addition of these prototype long tube headers that are based off of our Koni race car headers.
279.0whp, 20ft lb gain across the board!!
Both pulls on the same dynapack, SAE corrected.
Like the Pulstar spark plugs, these are just the gains we saw on THIS particular vehicle guys. Who knows maybe this car is cursed but she keeps on making ridiculous HP with small mods! Also, having no mufflers and no resonators might help. It's so ridiculously loud. But its just a test vehicle to try things on and have fun with, so why not right?
I have some footage (dyno and driving away from camera) I will compile a video and post it up as well.
Goal is 400whp one day out of these VQs! I know they can do it!

The HP and Torque scales are the same... torque on left hp on right of graph... therefore the curves should cross at 5252 rpms (the rpms are at the bottom);
The only time the curves don't intersect at 5252 is if the hp and torque scales are different on the same graph ie the torque range on graph is from 0 to 300 and the hp range on same graph is from 0 to 250;
AND I JUST ANSWERED MY QUESTION... THE HP SCALE ON THE RIGHT TOPS AT 280 BUT DOESN'T START AT 0 LIKE THE TORQUE.... THIS IS RIGHT... HP DOES EQUAL TORQUE AT 5252 ...

- the after crosses around 5500
even if they are not crossing at 5250, the scaling from before/after was the same, right? so they should both cross at the same point.

If you pick any other points along any of the curves and stick them into...
HP = TQ x RPM / 5252
...you do get an appropriate value for the other corresponding curve so this graph does look plausible.

It must be that the HP and TQ graphs lose their linear relationship to each other once you skew one of the graphs, so it appears the higher the TQ is, the earlier they will cross (im guessing until they get infinetly close to 5252)
Which makes sense if you think about it, because the higher the TQ is, the smaller the 80ft lb difference between the graphs is, when looked at as a percentage.
If we were to plot 700 ft lbs of TQ in a straight line and calculated for HP, and plotted it on this graph, I am willing to be the crossover would be much closer to 5252rpm.
I try to keep my graphs always scaled the same for TQ and HP, but that one must have slipped by me! It prevents people from hastilly jumping all over us and assuming we are shady, thank you for correcting yourself though yardee!

Once production is moving ahead with the DE/Revup and they are selling well, we can look into producing HR headers.
As soon as we have some production sets finished and sitting around I will bring an HR in and start making the modifications needed to make them fit, then produce a set specifically designed for that engine and test them back to back. I know the HR has had substantial improvements to the exhaust manifold design, but am confident we will still see 25+ whp gains.
