sweet, looking forward to it. if i was closer, i'd offer my car as the test subject, to bad your so far away

is there an eta yet on these going into production?

I'm currently sourcing material and collectors for a more affordable price, if things work out according to plan they should be in mass production by the end of the spring for DEs and Revups, and should also fit G35 coupes (not sure about sedans?)

HR's I would hope to have ready by the end of fall or start of '10.

so these headers will kinda be like test pipes right in terms of smog?

theres no way to pass the smog tests unless you maybe pay off the shop? haha

but yeah, good luck with the production

There's a couple of places around NYC that will do it for the standard $37 as long as your check engine light isn't on... and as long as you don't mind crossing a few bridges

I'm wondering if those electronic o2 sims work for the newer wideband equiped Z's...

o2 sims don't work on the hr's. the best solution (and the only one that works that i know of) is an extend bent tube like gtm has on their test pipes for the 370 and g37

If we were to plot 700 ft lbs of TQ in a straight line and calculated for HP, and plotted it on this graph, I am willing to be the crossover would be much closer to 5252rpm.

I try to keep my graphs always scaled the same for TQ and HP, but that one must have slipped by me! It prevents people from hastilly jumping all over us and assuming we are shady, thank you for correcting yourself though yardee!
Not really. You can check out most of the builts here, both NA & FI, and a proper graph will show a before/after with the same scale (crossing at 5252 RPM's). 700 WHP/ 750 WTQ have the same cross points.

Well i was wondering sense people be will be buying these headers for mostly streets. I was wondering if there could be resonators put in the design for street use if the people wanted it? Adding to that i have a couple of questions. 1. will it hinder performance from the use of resonators( i think it wont hurt it more than 3hp). 2. will it hinder that great exotic sound?? 3. would it be able to bolt up to any cat back?( i think you may of already answered this but just checking)

Here's a link to another dyno where the hp and tq scales are different, and guess what, hp and tq doesn't intersect at 5252, SO STOP CRYING ABOUT IT. i swear its like dealing with kids on here, any valid explanation is always ignored and the slightest doubt is blown up like its the most important issue on the planet

here's the link:

Hey Guys,

Really sorry there haven't been any new and exciting updates. I've been in talks with a few suppliers and manufacturers, and its amazing how slow guys are to get things done at this level. It's almost no wonder why our economy is slowing down, no one seems to want to work anymore these days!

Anyhow, our racecar is coming along well and we'll be out testing soon, so you guys will soon be able to enjoy the sound in more than just a free revving and dyno pull envrionment.

We've got a few headers being produced now by hand in our shop for a few guys, but still no mass production (making them affordable) solutions just yet. So frustrating!

Hang in there guys, it will be worth it.
