If you wanted to get by cheaper on the engine you could use a 5.3l out of a truck with a cam and make over 400hp at the wheels. You can buy one for about 300-450$. Also able to hook up a t56 to it, or a tko. I wish there was more information on the electrical part of the swap such as the stock gauges working. I would be sold on it then.

Why would you want 3.9 gears if you already spin in 3rd gear with the stock 3.5's??

I don't know if this was answered and i figured others might want to know so i'll post instead of PMing.

what size of rims did you use for front and rear? i know 15" in the rear.

Did you have to remove your big brake kit? any other mods to make those rims fit on the car? I'd like to put some old school muscle rims on my car like that. I'm kind of getting tired of looking at 18's.

Because im going through the traps at the end of 3rd/ beg of 4th and its hurting the performance of it badly..and at 80mph on the highway cruising im at 1500rpms..which doesn't work well with a cam like mine. Going to 3.9s or 4.08s will take 1/2 second off my e/ts

Don't bother if you have anything other than the 03-05 brakes. Even with those I had to do some grinding to get them to fit.

well, 03/04 have brembos. 05 and newer dont.

i have an 03 with brembos. There is barely enough room to fit my 18's in the front. The rear has a little bit of space though.

Im talking about the regular brakes. The 06 NON brembos are actually larger than the 03-0(4 or 5)
