Hey, I live in the NJ NYC area and I am wondering if any of you that live in the same area have had final drive gears installed on your 350z/ G35 and if so by what shop? Or do you know of a shop in NJ NY that you would recomend for this install. thanks

did you try calling turbo trix? i kno their not far from nyc, their a dsm shop but gears arent rocket science.

 

Yeah, I would assume so but better safe than sorry IMO. I was just looking to see if anyone has experience with a shop that actually installed gears on their or a friends vehicle in this area including NJ, NY, CT, Pa or even MD. I don't really want to be anyone's guinea pig. I have had issues back in my Honda days when something was supposed to take a day but my car was down for a week or 2 even 3 because the shop was not experienced with the install. Unfortunately I don't have a 2nd car yet so my G is my daily driver.

Get at Z1 Performance(I believe) who is a member and has a shop in Long Island. I know he sells the final gears, but not sure if he installs them. But, I am almost certain he can refer you to someone close by. Goodluck
