Yeah, I have Cipher as well as the Greddy Infotouch that allows me to log certain things without the need of a computer. It's a nice small utility to have to see real time info. I'm going to use it with the sensor adapter to watch boost and such when i do go SCed. I like it a lot better then gauges.

Here is a pic of my old headers for reference, notice how they practically look identical to the very popular Strup (the way the tubes wrap and meet at the collector)

The Greddy Infotouch is still very good for NA car. I was thinking of going Turbo as well but the NA upgrades I have transfers a lot better over to SC then it does to Turbo. Also smog is always a concern here in california.

Boooo giggle juice. All the cars I have ever owned ended up getting a bigger turbo or turbo'd. This car has easily made it the longest without getting boost.

Function Tuned has a 1 year warranty on turbo installed by Dave and tuned by him.........on stock block that is. I am SERIOUSLY tempted. Only stipulation is that you can't go over 400whp on his DD (about ~430whp on a dynojet). Still, its the only place I have ever seen to put that much behind their work. I figure after the year I will be tired of 430whp (lol) and have a built block ready to go in. Sorry to jack your thread.

Cali=Fail in terms of their car hating policies.

Here are some awesomely bad video of inside of the car.

Here is an old video that is just as bad in quality but prior to the cams and headers for comparison.

This is the best I can do since it is so late and I had to drive two hours. I promise to take some better vids tomorrow.

Edit: nice dyno sheet, it's always good to compare before and after. Good gains.

I was looking at Jet-hot as well but then I wanted the heat wrap more for it's sound/vibration insulation properties. It eliminated all of the remaining rasp and almost most of my drone. Drone used to be from 2300-2800 rpm range, but now it's way down to only between 2400-2500 rpm with a more mild droning.

Btw, did you sell your SC?

Yeah, I had to take these for you before i left to work. Hopefully i get some time this weekend before i leave for asia, else it'll be 5 weeks from now. I really wonder how this will sound like with the shockwave tips. I'll try to swap them out since I have them.

Wow 93k? Coo. How was it? I did test couple weeks ago by cobb tunning, but they didn't give me any paper work they just told me it's good. lol

Why you doing install cams and etc? if you have a high milies car, isn't it better and easier to start build on the side? I'm pretty sure install cams wasn't easy.

Yeah lots of miles, i've had my car for 6.5 years and it's not even my main car, hehe. The check came out to be very good on all cylinders, so he told me not to rebuild my engine unless if i'm going for lots of power. You are getting another test done? Is there some issues with your car?

My heads are fine and those are easy to work on since it just sits on top of the block. So really not too much work. My block and heads got checked and are very healthy so really no need to build a new engine on the side and drop it in. I don't mind the car being out of commission since I have spare ones to drive and also don't feel like spending $6000 or so to replace something that is healthy. I'm not aiming for anything with high power so my last upgrade to my car I will do is a SC, if i do it (btw, your build thread is very informative and thanks for putting it up) Later on if something does go wrong with the block then I'll probably do a small engine rebuild.
