^I still use the "big" cam term, but what I really mean is "aggressive" cam. Good background info about the valves/headwork, too. Thanks, Adam.

I hear ya, just want to make sure whoever references it down the road doesn't just think that because brand A lists a cam as 284, and brand B lists it as 272, that A is automatically a more aggressive cam...it could be the reverse

just something I forgot to mention, no matter how you slice it, Sasha's car is sweet and I'm sure boogies pretty good

As for the C10, you probably have to call them. Not advertised.

If it were me building, I probably wouldn't be caught dead using the Cosworth or the revup manifold, and this is coming from someone who used to swear by it. The gains made by both options do not outweigh the the losses in to powerband. You could argue that peak power is up, but the area under the curve is actually a lot less.

I'd look into a way of adapting, or copying a HR manifold to work on a DE.

An HR could be made to work, it's been done before. Certainly a nice option as well, though not sure if it would give the broader power curve and still maintain it up top in and of itself. Would be interesting to see. The only group I know using such a setup had a standalone, not sure if a reflash would accomodate it (my guess would be no, but not sure)

^Unproven so far. I wish someone NA would step forward and show it makes considerable power. I'm about done modifying my car since I'm going to school soon.

true, but im guessing the gains will be much more than any exhaust system, and people have no problem spending thousands on cat backs

TBH, I don't think that a 90mm TB will bring gains if the cams and exhaust can't get the air in and out any faster. That is a sort of situation that you bring to JWT or your camshaft manufacturer and ask for data on how big the intake pipe/TB can be (or needs to be) before the intake outflows (or is optimized by) the cams and headwork.

I think that's why SG has the C10 in the intake, because the GM TB flows WAYYY more than stock and the cams and manifold can take advantage of it. They basically blew out the intake opening and are now trying to find cams that will fill it.
Im tuned by uprev, does this mean I can utilize the gm TB by reflashing???
If this is the case, someone seriously needs to work on a full package intake system, ie larger intake pipe and appropriate plenum... no?????

No. Because it will cost money and since it won't make 50 whp it wouldn't sell.
