So to my understanding just put a breather filter on the ds Pcv and cap the intake off or catch can from ds Pcv with a breather on the end and capping intake off? Which way would the airflow on the catch be going towards the Pcv or away from Pcv?

airflow would be out the pcv valve (to the intake via vacuum)

capping the inlet on the intake and adding a breather filter on the back of the driver's side valve cover makes it so instead of pulling vacuum from the back of the driver's side valve cover, it is actually going to end up sucking and the pcv valve will be doing all of the work pulling out all of the stuff out of both valve covers
