I have Manley +1mm valves, JWT S7 cams and springs and was not asking for any help getting more power.

I am losing power to my exhaust because I want a car I can live with. I gave away my AP Ti exhaust to make it quieter.

I have everything I need/want.

If you look at his posts you will see a theme of TC.

Also, SG has a one off intake and they spent 10,000 hours getting huge cams into the heads.

With the cutout open I am sure I can get 10-20 HP/LB back when I want it.

The way it is now is awesome and I am very happy with my livable 300 hp daily driver.

It was done on the dyno. I am going to bring it back in a few weeks to let it run a bit and after I go 3" from the XYZ resonator to the Cutout.

e30,

You don't know how happy I was to see this thread after being away for a little while....so glad you didn't give up on it & super-glad you are enjoying your ride exactly the way you wanted it! That certainly is most important, for sure.

Considering all of the obstacles you went through to get the motor in your car just right, I would certainly agree with you that this is nothing short of a Christmas miracle! Enjoy sir!

I built this motor 100% the way my needs dictated. It gives me what I want which is a powerful daily driver that has an acceptable (TO ME) amount of NVH. I traded some power for a quiet exhaust which rules out long tubes and by the way, the ART pipes made great gains on the Megan headers nearing long tube numbers.
Ok.

I tried to be helpful, but whatever, some people have more money than sense. Enjoy your car.

I also have no oil squirters with my BC stroker but mine does not shoot up that high after 3k. It usually hovers around 100 with my revup pump.

BTW, do you have a vid of your car with and without exhaust cutout? Old or new engine.

I disagree. You were not trying to be helpful.

As I said. I built the motor for my needs and to get as much power as I could while limiting NVH.

I succeeded and am enjoying my car.

Here is the cutout with the old motor.

Haha. You blew the camera over? You can barely hear idle with the cutout close.

I cut the brass pipe that goes over the header about 1". Just cut what will be filled in by the hose that came with the kit.

Here is how the motor sits now.
