Looks like the APS pan. I had one on my car. It has some big baffles in it. Great for track use. I took it off and bought a smaller pan.

Did you seal the lower oil pan because it needs to come off to install the timing cover.

^Yeah, if I remember, the oil pan should be the last part to go on.

Nope just attached to be able to keep track of the fasteners and move it around easily as a unit.

i know you did the pathfinder cooling mod, so i was wanting to ask you a question about it. when you removed the cover on the block to where the mod attaches to, did yours look like this?

Just had a call from the mechanic. Timing is set, rotating mass rotates unimpeded. I was concerned about valve to piston clearance.

are you a revup? what are those things on top of the exhaust cam gear? i know the intake has the vtc sprockets, but mine doesnt have those on the exh side
