i have the MR longtubes, MR ypipe and a mandrel 3" ss single exhaust to a apexi n1 muffler. quite raspy at half throttle or more above 3k rpm. but if you go wot it just sounds mean! i do have a vibrant resonator i plan on putting on it to help with the rasp.
and +1......get a good quality vid of the car. i've been slack and will get another drive-by/idle vid of mine soon enough.

The headers made a difference, I wrapped them and noticed a difference in under hood heat, but in this 100+ everyday texas heat, there is no winning...

I personally think my exhaust sounds really good, haha. I do need to make some videos of the car, i should have done it this weekend...

2004Black350z, why are you trolling the NA guys? Do you have a built motor or thinking about doing one?

whoa, someone got angry quick, I was being friendly... I like my knock off stuff, why spend alotta money when you can have almost the same quality for $1k+ less. I am not here to prove 177mph to you or anyone, I am saying I have done it in my old G35. I really don't see my car as ricer, AT ALL! If you read towards the beginning, the oil level was full when it went, and it was an oil burner. The engine failure was rings giving up... I pushed add to cart? how complicated can your parts list be... You buy pistons, rods, a gasket kit and more if you plan on abusing it. I did ALL the work myself with my friend's help except for the machine work. Some "exhaust *****" coming in my thread hating on me for not running a real HKS exhaust and not running $2k SG headers (nothing against SG headers, I do believe they are better but $2k is outta my price range).

easy guys.

i had the hks rep exhaust too and i liked it overall. i think i paid like $350 or so for mine on ebay back then. i just wanted to try the single look for a bit. paid $100 for the apexi muffler, my friend had an assortment of mandrel sections and maybe $10 in a ss flange.

and i agree, i dont have the kinda money like plenty of other guys around here to drop 4-5k on a full exhaust. sorry.
