why doesnt nissan use roller bearing lifters/buckets like other newer engines? that would keep friction to its minimum. is there just not enough room in there?

I am just going to put it out there, unless you are actually pulling the cams out (HUGE job) this is not something that serious, I didn't use them personally, but I am sure they will make alittle something, but unless I was getting new springs/retainers in and bigger cams, I would leave good enough along, there are better areas to spend money on the car.

Courtesy Nissan online sells the buckets for only like $18 bucks new. Definitively going in on my head build next year.

make sure that you get the right sizes after you measure for clearance.
