True dat, sorry I was actually referring more towards the person who agreed with you. I do not believe DE with just bolt-ons make that much power. SO many people still defend the DE thinking that it is a better motor than the HR, which is the most ridiculous idea!

OP has only bolt ons + cams & some head work.
I have a few bolt ons as well.
I don't remember a non build with higher whr.
I've seen many 370Z's with 310-330 rhp. It's like common.

I am very little into Dyno numbers, unless its to use it as a tool to compare some bolt ons, or in the last of my Dyno case, see how I stood after having my car flooded.
Most moded 370's seem to produce 310-330 hp range but have a hard time breaking 13 seconds 1/4 mile. So maybe it's the cerve of the H.P. or not the best driving??????

A quick/fast car's time slip settles everything......

I can't see the video at work but where does it say he has cams and head work?

"Mods
350z HR 310whp
-uprev tuned by Jdsmotoring
-straight pipe custom 3" exhaust no res
-370z OBX-R long tube headers (PPE Replicas)
-Fujita Short ram intakes"

That seems like basic bolt-ons and a tune.

I agree, numbers don't mean crap, especially because of the variables. Heck I have beaten plently of car that have better numbers than me.

the dyno was done on dyno dynamics, its very accurate, i will be getting my car dyno on a dyno jet very soon to see the difference, i actually had my car dyno'd on a dyno jet before i made 272WHP on very old black oil, fujita short ram intakes, berks high flow cats, stillen y pipe and megan 3" single... after i installed 370z LTH, got a custom straight pipe exhaust, freah oil, and uprev tune by jds motoring, i made 38whp... went from 272whp to 310whp

I'm under great pressure now/today. That caused me to say such a foolish thing like signing in when you're already posting

I was just making a point that this seems like a thread that should have stayed with the one he made in intake and exhaust forum, or in the vq35hr forum, the NA forum is generally (or used to be) made for people actually building a VQ for NA, not bolt ons

The 272 was on a DJ and the 310 was on a DD?

Another question to theOP. Did your tuner mention anything about needing injectors? I've seen a couple examples where HR's with these injectors were running above 90 percent injector duty. I haven't been able to test my own car due to te gas shortage unfortuneatly.

Is the 310whp pull on a DD with a dynojet correction (this is significant imo)? If not so when you do to a dynojet your numbers will be noticably higher.

Were you speeding recklessly on an active, public road?

I'll answer that for you...yes.
