before the engine blew (VHR) it was at 324whp started from 256whp
similar weather temp. (weather station built-in the dynapack)
it had a lot of custom part
Oversized Cai/TB
HR intake manifold
PPE step long tube header
Custom X-pipe / straight flow muffler

I estimate another 15whp could have been seen on my next project.

now with the HR im kind of restricted on the budget.
I will test the same setup that I had but on the 37HR (plan for April 2013 for dyno tune)

Im hopping to get 2TH's momentum for a test.
the goal is also to get the SGM later on or my own header once I finnaly get another Tig welder (fall 2013)

Very nice. Good luck to you. If I were younger, I'd be road racing....

Andre, it's pretty immature what you have done to this thread. You either know this product is for you on you don't and move on. It is not the responsibility of the community to sell these headers to you or justify their existence.

They would be worth while to me. My car will have huge cams. The motor will already be out. I have parts that I can trade to offset their cost. My car is track only and I want NA power.

Thy are not meant to be a mass market item. They are the finishing touches on a track build where they may give an edge in performance.

That is why mass produced corvette long tubes are cheaper.

These are hand made for a select few that are bred to compete. Not someone simply looking for hp/ dollar ratio.

You make a good point. I didn't want to go there. I guess I got caught up in the moment. For true/serious racing, that kind of product would be a must thing to do.

Nice!! Couple of questions

1. What size TB and CAI?

2. Out of all the mods you have which you feel gave you most gain on the track?

3. Which did nothing in your opinion?

4. Why did it blow?

if any question please PM me to avoid going out of topic again please !
even though I like being ask question on my car/built !

1; OEM TB = 60mm , my bored TB was 62.5mm, knife edged buttlefly and the shaft cut in half . the OEM intake at the MAF is also 60mm, my CAI was at 63.5mm 3'' reduced to 63.5mm then back up to 2.750

2;the most gain depend on what the rest is at. the whole intake setup wouldnt gain as much if my exhaust setup wasnt up to the task , so its hard to tell.

3; stillen header in 2009/2010 , piece of crap

4; is exatly what 2TH PWR said ... it could have been saved by an accumulator

Niche product. If you want the best off-the-shelf header for a VQ, looks like $2k is the admission price. If you are fine with knock offs or older designs that are a fraction of the cost, you found your answer.

Good to see Sasha's jigs are still around. A true racecar worthy header.
