I'm worried about the pipes hitting the steering shaft.

do it...

EDIT:

I think the only issue with Headers between DE/RevUp and HR was that it may hit the floorboard on the HR passenger side. No steering shaft issues with Z33s, G35s and G35 Sedans however are a tight fit when it comes to steering shaft clearance.

I like it. Sounds the same to me?

You're planning on reving to 8300RPM though? Are you mad, or just don't care how long the engine lasts? lol

Hope you AT LEAST have the Nismo oil pump or custom oil pump gears, if not a dry sump...

What cams btw? Also, what valve springs specs if you're planning to rev that high?

SGSash now OPSash and I are different people. I bought his old DE and now run it in my car. He has now built. 3.7L HR. his revs to 9000 and makes 400 whp.

I do have an upgraded oil pump out of an HR I believe and an accusump 3qt system.

I couldn't tell you the specs because I bought it second hand on the valve springs. They are JWT C9/C10 cams.
I am making about 315 rwhp right now due to running a stock intake and plenum. Rev limit is 7600 on mine currently because the engine is starving for air.

Might resolve that this year ???

I meant, cars both sound similar. Sounds good.

Ya, C9/C10 cams are overkill with OEM plenum. Even my C8's I dyno'd yesterday, and saw they are really making good power, until the plenum just runs out of volume/flow. I really think you should look into the GTR plenum, and wiring up some dual throttle bodies, or ITB's. I talked to someone that has the GTR manifold on his DE, ttrebs on here I think is his name. Hit him up perhaps.

Can you provide more info on your oil pump, I talked for a while with an expert on the pumps, and the HR pump will not work well on a DE crankshaft at high revs due to the vibrations it produces (this is why they revised the gear material in the rev-up - to accomodate the crankshaft problems and allow for a more reliable high redline). Unless it is modified with custom chromoly oil gears or something harder... I think Sasha's original build included an oil pump like this. JWT used to use modified oil pump gears in their pro race motor builds.

Also, you should find out what springs you have (although I presume they are JWT spring/shim kit since this was Sasha's build, and I think he consulted with JWT extensively... and JWT only recommends their springs which are engineered matched to their camshafts to minimize harmonic vibrations, minimal camshaft lobe wear, blah blah science stuff). Just make sure they are safe at the RPM you intend to operate at.

You know more about my engine than I do.
Its his old pump, his old valves and springs.
I just haven't gotten around to improving the plenum yet/ throttle bodies yet.
