I ran the C2s on a supercharged 13psi built motor - other than the rough idle they are fine with me. I've had a good experience with JWT in the past.

he isnt asking about the cams, he is asking about the adjustable exhuast cam gears they now offer for the DE. absolutely useless on a revup since its already adjustable via ecu.

I haven't heard of anyone outside motor racing using them. Is there a reason your looking for that much adjustability?

Yeah but in order to really utilize them, vise just having them on your parts list, you would need a $20,000 engine with all the supporting mods. Unless your tryin to shift the power band right?

Been really thinking about these for my build. Just don't know if I/the people helping me have the skills to make a difference with them.

Will talk to JWT about it when i order the C9 cams.

Did some research and decided that you are right. Haltech would be a better option to adjust the cam duration. Thanks

Haltech will not adjust exhaust cam duration on a non-revup. Thats the point of those JWT gears.

If you do install them, you would probably want to dial them in on an engine dyno. Once you put the motor back in the car, you cant adjust them without pulling it all apart again.

What kind of build do you have in mind terrasmak? These JWT C9 cams are pretty extreme. They are 13.11mm lift of both intake and exhaust sides. That is an extra of 3.54mm of lift compare to VQ35DE standard cams of 9.57mm. I would love to see your build, because I am currently doing research for my build as well for my HR. My build would be consist with either Tomei 272 or 280 with 11.30mm of lift or JWT C1HR 262 with 11.90mm lift. I am a little surprise that the facts between the better flow heads design from HR than DE, DE has cams offer more than 13.11mm lift. I think JWT also offer the C10 Cams which is even bigger than the C9, not sure the spec on lift, probably 14.00mm.

The only car that I know runs these huge cams C9 is SGM Sasha 350z, they made an amazing 372 whp.
