What VQ35DE HR head found in altima 07+ maxima 09+ cams from another application will work in our altima 07+ . Maxima 09+ ? I know different years and configurations used some that controlled both intake and exhaust and some that only controlled intake. Ive been looking for cams and I keep seeing some offered that says not for 05+ revup engine. But I think that is only for the 350Z or am I wrong? Any feedback just let me know.

 

You need VQ35HR aftermarket cams. Like i said in the other thread.

that means 07 08 350z if thats the info you are looking for. im not sure.


JWT has C1HR cams, and there are a few other options out there too.

If you go JWT contact clark he knows about the fwd hr head setup.

 

Altima and Maxima are different cams... Maxima has EMRs and are the same as 350Z cams... Altima's have little cams and shorter (uninstalled height) springs... any cam that is for 06 and older will not work in an HR head (sensor trigger wheel is wrong)
