Default 11:1 CR, what plug gaps are you running?

I did a search, but I didn't find anything in the NA forum reguarding what spark plugs, and plug gaps worked best with the DE engines that had high CR's, and aftermarket cams.

So what brand spark plugs are you running, and what gap seems to work best? I would guess that a colder plug one step colder than stock would be a good starting point.

So, nobody here with 11:1cr knows what their plug gap is?

I don't think they would need to be changed, it's a minor change in compression, not like boost or nitrous. Stock gap should be good, just maybe one step colder.

A tune with 100 octane would do wonders as well, specially if it is some nice oxygenated fuel.

you run the biggest gap you can without misfiring. On a NA motor, you can usually open the gaps, on FI, close them.

If you dont want to determine what the best gap is on your own car, then just leave them stock.

Sounds like good advice. I will just leave them in as stock for now.
