Default Injector size for e85 build, c8 cams high comp NA build

Hey guys!

Does someone run e85 with a full NA build?
I wonder if 440cc will be enough (gtr injectors are rare here in France)

My spec:
2003 DE
Cosworth plenum
3' titane intake +gruppe m carbon airbox intake
Nwp 75mm big tb
Ppe long tube headers
Motordyne shockwave catback
Eagle rods
Wiseco 11:1 pistons
Jwt c8 cams +jwt springs
Suckerpunch oil pump

Currently building. I'll brake in the engine in 2 weeks
Pics of my setup (before my full build)

Beautiful engine build - What are your power goals?
I think you just gotta do the math

440cc injectors running e85 (at e85 requires 20%-25% more fuel) … so 440cc injectors running e85 is 440cc x .75 = 330cc running petro… will 330 injectors satisfy your power goals?

I would imagine you are going to be close. Doing your best to stay under 85% duty-cycle 280cc/min = 280hp. It would be my opinion that the 440cc injectors are going to be too small for your goals.

Thank you.
Speaking power, here in France we speak with crank hp...
Old setup :With mrev2 +spacer, intake you see above, DC headers, ART pipe, shockwave and uprev
323hp at crank ans 408nm torque (300ftlb)

With this setup with e85 I could go 380-400hp (crank) so maybe it's 320-330whp?

I have an opportunity to buy 600cc deatschwerks, maybe it should be nice so... I was scary about 600cc being to much, like 50% duty cycle...

I was at 95% of stock DE injectors with my first setup..

Yea - I could see 600cc injectors being of adequate size.

The good thing for you (at least here in the states) 500-600cc/min injectors are sorta a bastard-child of the aftermarket world … too big for lightly modified builds and too small for turbo'd / big builds.

Yes I do, about 5 to 10 times /year. I'll go at Le Mans this summer
Is your setup already finish? I have no idea how it will perform with ppe ans cosworth plenum... Hope e85 will help to be close to 330whp... 😁

Ah that's great !
I will send you a PM, as I'd like to come along to one and it would be very cool to see another Z there
I've not finished yet, I'm waiting for my PPE to arrive and some other breathing parts. During winter I'll be doing the pistons etc.

Just buy GTR injectors from the states for $150-200usd. They are all over Ebay, etc. Motor in my car makes similar power and runs on E85 fwiw.

I think the problem is; how much is it to import and how long will it take. He may be able to new 600's for cheaper than getting used GTR's.

So car is near finish, runing e85 and gtr injectors. Already putting down 304rwhp on kind of first tune, I'll see soon after the engine is really "free" with about 3000km how it will be.
I think I have to work on cosworth plenum because the inlet is like 70mm...and the nwp 75mm is not usable as it could be... We'll see soon.

What are your current mods and have you rebuilt the bottom end? Do you have a dyno chart you could post up?
