I got the 350Z as my weekend fun car just like the many others I've had...I've been a Z fan since the days of the 240/260/280 and have always wanted one but just never got around to doing it.
I can only give you pros and cons which, are entirely my opinion, and definitely independent of each car...not fair to compare them to one another...
Pros:
Z06:
Fit & finish
Raw power on tap
Torque
Instrument panel layout
Driveability...particularly the gear shifting
Depth of the Millenium Yellow color
Engine accessability
F-1 tires
Stereo
350Z:
Price: I paid $27,044 before TTL
300 HP from a V6 is awesome
Fit & finish
Love the Magnetic Black
06 wheels look awesome
Instrument panel
RPM courtesy warning
TPMS
Cons:
Z06:
No XM satellite radio
Wish it had wheels that only fit the Z06...there are too many camaros, firebirds, and some others with Z06 wheels running around
350Z:
Wish the tires were wider to prevent curb rash
A rear spoiler option from Nissan that is more aggresive
Would like to see the antenna on the roof
No XM satellite radio option on the base model
Would love just a little more exhaust note
Does not come with floor mats, cargo mat, or wheels locks
Cheers, Z
