Default Im an official member now GOT the Z today!!!!

Yep, but I have to wait till friday to pick it up due to my schedules.

I don't really even know what to say. It hasn't hit me yet. This is the first really really nice expensive thing I have bought other than my truck, which was about half the price of the Z.

As some may know for a couple of months I was going nuts trying to decide on a color. So I went to a lot that had a silverstone and daytona blue parked side by side AGAIN today.

The wheels seemd liked they clashed with the blue. Just didn't turn my *****. The silverstone was well.... it's silver. Looks nice but it's silver.

So went to the lot with the redline base to check out the color again and that was that. Knew then that redline was the color.

I was determined to put $4,000 down and finance 25,000 and get my payments at about $508 for 60 months.

I ended up financing thru the dealer instead and put $4,500 down and got the payments at $502 a month at a lower APR. All in all I got it for what I wanted plus about $160 or something, that is spread out over 5 years.

In the end I got pretty close to invoice plus fees. I could have keep asking lower but he was walking back and forth to his boss a lot and he looked like he was getting sleepy.

Originally they quoted me monthly paymets of 610-620

I laughed and said what's the APR like 20% LOL. I guess it's worth a shot to them to see how anxious you are to jump on the first offer. I had a pretty good poker face cuz I had only 3 hours of sleep in 2 days.

I will post pics saturday morning. Then post some more when I get some of the mods in my closet on.

2006 Redline base 6M

that link really doesn't say much, i don't know why you keep posting it. There are much better ones that have to do with mods.

Well well well. After 10 months I thought that you were never going to do it. Congradulations. Its one thing to be a forum member. Its quite another to be member and drive a 350Z.

ArrestMeRed is an excellent choice.

If you dont mind me asking, what was the APR that you got through the dealer? I can get 5% through my credit union. Just curious the NMAC will be able to get any lower than that. Oh, and congrats on the car!!! I know that you have been waiting and debating for quite a while. Its nice to see that you finally got one! I'll (hopefull) be joining you this coming weekend!

Yeah !!!! Bet you can hardly wait to take delivery. Just make sure you pick up the car in the sunlight and check the paint completely. Make sure all the paint is good and try everything before you leave the dealership. Note all of the thing you want fixed. Especially any cosmetic issues. You don't want them to say ..... you must have scratched this or that. Even check underneath to make sure they didn't damage it during shipping etc...

Hopefully, you can join us on some of our Bay Area Runs. Here are a few of the members:

5 year loan, damn.
I just hope you have your priorities straight! I hate seeing posts like "Had to sell my Z, financial difficulties" etc.

Anyways, CONGRATS!

Good luck, enjoy the car, and welcome to the "club"

7.5%.

Which isn't too bad at all considering how much consumer (cc) debt I had 1.5 years ago.

I'm happy with 7.5. Good luck

Actually I was kind of regreting somewhat, that I should have gone with Silverstone but too late now

Since it will be primarly just a weekend car for the first several months, it's ok. Just have to get used to red, which looked really neat on the lot

I will be doubling up+ on payments. I went with 5 in case of a layoff.
