Default Just picked up 35th Anniversary Edition!

Well, after months of reading through this site, and deciding what i wanted to purchase.. I got a Silverstone 35th anniversary. Went down Saturday to drop off the wifes 2004 Murano for service. Saw 2 35th's sitting there.. one black, and one silverstone. Took it for a spin, and worked up the figures.. Traded in my 2003 Audi A4. Woohoo.. I will try to get some pictures up soon. I have lots of reading to do.. I guess one of the first things I want is a pop charger. What is the benefit of this plenum spacer that people talk about?

a plenum spacer is an aluminum cut out that lifts up your plenum (that piece behind your engine cover) it lets more air in the engine. more air = more HP. motordyne makes the best one. they are available in 5/16th of an inch and 1/2 inch the 5/16 allows you to keep your stock stur bar. the 1/2 is too thick. the spacers are good for maybe 11-14hp. and they cost around $250 USD.

Yeah, the mod bug has bitten me.. i dont want to go too crazy.. its definately faster than my A4 i had before.. Only thing i had done to the A4 was add the Revo software. I really want to add the pop charger and possibly exhaust to the Z to get the best sound out of it Plenum spacer sounds like something i will definately be doing as well.

Sounds like you've done some research. I would also suggest a crank pulley as well. Take a look here: https://my350z.com/forum/2003-2009-nissan-350z/172411-everything-install.html You can see the route I went.

also be aware that you may not only want the plenum spacer. you have a revup engine (300 hp) and would benefit more from the MREV kits from motordyne. happy modding!!!

I love my 35th but beware of temptations of mods. It's hit my pocket book pretty heavy but then again I can't complain because the performance is great.

By the way, thanks Liudacris about infor. on the MREV kit for the 300hp motor. I wasn't aware of that, only thought Motordyne had the 5/16 available for the 287 motor. I was running out of mods for my 35th and didn't want to go to the last resort which is F/I aka Turbo. So far my 35th has:

Nismo: Headers/Catback/Suspension+sways/flywheel/clutch/CAI/side+rear body kit/ti-shifter
RT: High Flow Cats
UR: Pulleys
350Evo: 3.9FD
Volks: 19" SF Challenge
Michelin: 245/275 Sport PS2

How much did you pick it up for (if you dont mind me asking)? There's a brand new 35th Anniv on Ebay that they are asking $34K (6spd, nav, 2-tone leather).

After the number playing games, i got it out the door for about 33995. It only had 207 miles on it when i got it, so it had been test drove a few times.. That is what mine has.. 6spd, nav, 2tone, silverstone.
